The
Welders
The next stage of the production process involves
inserting re-enforced steel into the profile to make it strong, durable
and reliable.
Next, the already cut sections of the profile get welded together to create your frame. The welders are all individually set up for different products, e.g. windows or doors, which again makes our production process quicker and easier.
The welder works by inserting a hot metal plate between where the two pieces of profile join at the corner. This hot plate heats up the profile, then the machine pushes them together which fuses it tight.
CNC Corner Cleaner
During the welding process, a "mushroom"
effect occurs in the corners of the frame where some of the PVC-u spills
out over the top of the newly fused join. This is tidied up in the next
stage of production using our CNC Corner Cleaner - another state of the
art machine that allows clean, elegant lines throughout your PVC-u
product.
The newly made frame is inserted like shown in the picture opposite and clamped down. A precision blade then takes away the excess material and leaves a sleek groove so no join is even visible.
The Stuga
This is our
Stuga Flowline Cutting and Prepping Machine and this is the first stage
in our window and door production process.
When you place an order with us, the details are stored onto our computers where it automatically goes through to the Stuga, which in turn starts to cut your desired colour of profile to your window or door specifications.
This highly sophisticated machine not only cuts your profile but also prepares it for the stages to come by inserting drainage holes, equalising holes and handle holes.
This machine not only makes it easy to create a large number of products in a short space of time, but also makes life straight forward for our workers on the shop floor and allows no room for error.
